This actually makes it quite easy to calculate how many hours I’ve spent on one painting. Interesting.

And yeah it was because I saw The Hunger Games and thought it would be great to try.

Turns out I’m pretty good at it too. Need to get used to using a finger tab, though. That completely threw my game.

So, I’m sorry I haven’t been doing archery since I was 8, and I’m sorry a movie was the reason I and many other people are trying something new. But after talking to some of the members, it seems that 90% of the people trying archery don’t come back the next week. And about 99% give up after a month. So when all the Katniss Everdeens and Hawkeyes are bored, you’ll still have me to chat and hang out with, which is better than an 8 year old  who keeps trying to pull the arrows out of the target by bending their tails. Which is just painful to watch. I ended up just racing ahead of him and grabbing most of his arrows for him.

Anyway, I’ll be going next week.
